(UPDATE) The Supreme Court has made an exciting announcement that the results of the 2023 Bar examinations will be livestreamed today on its official YouTube and Facebook social media accounts. This move is aimed at providing easy access to the results for all interested parties, especially in light of the ongoing pandemic.
In a notice issued on Monday, the Office of the 2023 Bar Chair emphasized the importance of relying on the Supreme Court’s official communication channels for accurate, verified, and updated information. This ensures that examinees and concerned stakeholders are well-informed and can trust the information they receive.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court has assured that rigorous security measures will be implemented within the premises of the Supreme Court in Manila on the day of the results. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of all stakeholders, including those who will be present at the Supreme Court Main Building to document and witness the announcement of the results.
All individuals entering the courtyard of the Supreme Court Main Building are reminded to come dressed appropriately and to undergo a security inspection before entering. Additionally, as an additional health precaution, the wearing of face masks within the Court premises is highly encouraged.
The Supreme Court Public Information Office (SCPIO) has stated that the exact time of the announcement will depend on when the Supreme Court en banc finishes its deliberations and decoding of the results. Once the decoding is complete, Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, Chairperson of the 2023 Bar Examinations, will announce the results at the SC Courtyard.
This year, a total of 10,387 examinees took the 2023 Bar examinations out of the 10,791 applicants. The Bar examinations were held on September 17 and 24, 2023, in 14 local testing centers across the country.
It is worth noting that 2023 will be remembered as the year when the results of two bar examinations, the 2022 Bar and the 2023 Bar, were released consecutively. Following the announcement of the results, oath-taking ceremonies and the signing of the Roll of Attorneys will be held for the successful candidates.
The Supreme Court takes pride in the Condensed Bar Schedule implemented this year. This schedule shortened the original four-Sunday-schedule and packed the exams into three days instead. This adjustment aimed to streamline the process and make it more efficient for the examinees.
For those who pass the 2023 bar exams, the oath-taking and roll-signing ceremonies will be held at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City on December 22. This event marks an important milestone in the legal careers of the successful candidates.
In conclusion, the livestreaming of the 2023 Bar exam results by the Supreme Court is a significant step towards providing transparent and accessible information to all stakeholders. As the results are announced, the legal community and the examinees themselves eagerly await this important moment in their professional journeys.
