Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Dr. Saad Al-Barak, has reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to supporting the decisions made by the OPEC alliance regarding the reduction of oil output. In addition to this, Kuwait has pledged to implement an additional voluntary cut of 135,000 barrels per day (bpd) starting from January 1st until the end of March 2024.
This new reduction in oil output will bring Kuwait’s total production down to 2.413 million bpd, as stated by Dr. Al-Barak during a press conference held on Wednesday.
