The eTravel Card Registration

Through the eArrival card, foreign visitors were able to travel to the local government unit of their choice in the Philippines and complete their contact tracing and health declarations online.

The new eTravel card will have a similar function as the eArrival card, though it will require fewer pieces of information. It will also have a more user-friendly interface. To make the transition easier, the old eArrival website will remain accessible and accepted.

The Philippines government introduced the new e-Travel card on December 1, 2022. This resulted in the One Health Pass website being removed from the public domain on December 5, 2022.

The BOQ’s Health Declaration checklist can be found on the platform. The electronic version of the card is also used for immigration clearance.

Travelers entering the Philippines after December 2 will be required to use the new electronic travel system.

All travelers are required to use the new electronic travel system to improve the safety and security of their trips. Those who do not register in advance will be subject to additional restrictions.

After the change in the system, the old One Health Pass printed card will no longer be accepted at the Bureau of Immigration. Those from other countries are also required to have the new e-Travel Card, which can be obtained through the platform.

What are the Requirements?

There is no requirement for a COVID-19 exam before travel. Either the second dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccination is required at least fourteen (14) days before departure from the country of origin/port of embarkation.

B. Not immunized or only partially immunized (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

  1. Passengers aged 15 and up must present the results of a Rapid Antigen Test performed in a laboratory under remote observation and confirmed by a qualified medical expert within 24 hours of leaving their country of origin/first port of embarkation, excluding layovers.
  2. Adults over the age of 15 who fail a pre-departure test must undergo a laboratory antigen test UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT.
  3. Children under the age of 15 who have not been immunized are expected to follow the criteria provided by their parents or legal guardians. Furthermore, they must adhere to existing restrictions.

NOTE: Any arriving passenger of any nationality who tests positive for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test will be subject to the most recent DOH quarantine and isolation procedures. This is the condition regardless of the traveler’s country of origin.

The eTravel system will generate a GREEN QR Code if your submission of the required information and attachments is complete and meets the most recent IATF entry criteria.

If you do not match the requirements, you will be given a RED QR Code at the airport. A BOQ representative will next determine if RT-PCR or quarantine testing is required.

It is critical to remember that utilizing the same code more than once is not permitted. You must register and generate a new QR Code for your upcoming trip.
