Recognizing the shared responsibilities of the executive and legislative authorities, His Highness the Amir urged them to work together for the benefit of the nation and its citizens. He cautioned against decisions that could harm the nation, citing concerns such as unfair appointments, changes to Kuwait’s identity through naturalization, the amnesty file, and the rehabilitation file. He expressed disappointment in the silence of the two authorities regarding these issues, describing it as legitimizing actions that prioritize mutual interests over those of the nation.

Highlighting the importance of national unity and security, His Highness the Amir called for efforts to improve the economy and living conditions of the people. He urged consultation and collaboration among all parties, emphasizing the preservation of national identity for the sake of the nation.

His Highness the Amir assured that the political leadership would remain close to all parties and closely monitor domestic developments. He encouraged objective questioning by parliament members within the framework of the constitution and the law.

Furthermore, His Highness the Amir paid tribute to the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah, recognizing his contributions to the development and prosperity of Kuwait. He described the late Amir as an example of humility and forgiveness.

In conclusion, His Highness the Amir expressed his gratitude to the citizens, expatriates, and leaders of friendly countries who offered their condolences, even if they were unable to attend the ceremonies in Kuwait. He thanked them for sharing in the nation’s grief.
