Food insecurity is a pressing issue that affects millions of people around the world, including Filipino OFWs in Kuwait and their families. This article sheds light on the issue and provides insights on what can be done to alleviate food insecurity. It discusses the causes of food insecurity, its impact on physical health and socio-economic aspects, and presents key strategies to address it, such as enhancing agricultural productivity, strengthening social safety nets, investing in nutrition education, supporting small-scale farmers, and strengthening food systems.
