Amnesty will be granted to members of various groups, including the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa ng Pilipinas/Revolutionary Proletarian Army/Alex Boncayao Brigade, former Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front, and members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and Moro National Liberation Front. The amnesty covers crimes committed in pursuit of political beliefs, and an Amnesty Commission will be formed to assess eligibility. The committee-adopted resolutions now await approval from the House plenary.
