In a recent surprise inspection campaign conducted by the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower and the Kuwait Municipality, a total of 263 individuals from various nationalities were arrested for violating residence and labor laws.

The Tripartite Committee, consisting of representatives from the aforementioned organizations, carried out the operations round the clock to ensure compliance with the law. These efforts were aimed at maintaining order and promoting the welfare of both residents and workers in Kuwait.

Among the apprehended individuals, 103 were found to be in violation of residence and labor laws. Notably, some men were caught engaging in the unauthorized sale of building materials along the main road in Al-Mutla’a. These unlicensed activities pose a threat to public safety and undermine the integrity of the local economy.

Furthermore, the Research and Investigation Department, in conjunction with the joint tripartite committee, successfully apprehended an additional 160 violators of residence and labor laws during security campaigns in Farwaniya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Amghara. These regions have been identified as areas with a higher incidence of non-compliance.

All of the apprehended individuals have been promptly handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. This ensures that appropriate measures are taken to address their violations and prevent such infractions in the future.

The enforcement of residence and labor laws is crucial for maintaining social order, protecting the rights of both residents and workers, and upholding the integrity of the local workforce. Violations of these laws can have serious consequences, including fines, deportation, and potential bans from re-entering the country.

By conducting surprise inspection campaigns and collaborating with various government agencies, the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations aims to deter individuals from engaging in illegal activities and ensure a safe and fair environment for all residents and workers in Kuwait.

It is important for individuals residing or working in Kuwait to familiarize themselves with the local laws and regulations governing residence and labor. Adhering to these laws not only avoids legal complications but also contributes to the overall well-being and development of the country.

The successful apprehension of these violators is a testament to the commitment of the authorities in Kuwait to maintain law and order. Through continued vigilance and enforcement, Kuwait strives to create an environment where residents and workers can thrive and contribute to the nation’s progress.
