The Supreme Court has announced that the results of the 2023 Bar examinations will be livestreamed today on its official YouTube and Facebook social media accounts. This move aims to provide examinees and concerned stakeholders with accurate, verified, and updated information.

In a notice issued on Monday, the Office of the 2023 Bar Chair emphasized the importance of relying on the Supreme Court’s official communication channels for the most reliable information. With the livestream, examinees and stakeholders can witness the announcement of the results firsthand.

Additionally, the Supreme Court has implemented rigorous security measures within its premises in Manila on the day of the results. This ensures the safety of all stakeholders involved. Individuals entering the Supreme Court Main Building to document and witness the results are reminded to come in proper attire and undergo security inspection. As an additional health precaution, the wearing of face masks within the Court premises is highly encouraged.

The exact time of the results announcement will depend on the Supreme Court en banc’s deliberations and decoding of the results. Once the decoding is complete, Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, Chairperson of the 2023 Bar Examinations, will announce the results at the SC Courtyard.

This year, a total of 10,387 examinees took the 2023 Bar examinations out of the 10,791 applicants. The exams were held on September 17 and 24, 2023, in 14 local testing centers.

2023 will be remembered as the year when the results of two bar examinations, the 2022 Bar and the 2023 Bar, were released. Following the announcement of the results, there will be oath-taking ceremonies and signing of the Roll of Attorneys for the successful candidates.

The Court takes pride in the Condensed Bar Schedule, which shortened the original four-Sunday-schedule into three days. This modification allowed for a more efficient and streamlined examination process.

The oath-taking and roll-signing ceremonies for those who passed the 2023 bar exams will be held at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City on December 22.

By livestreaming the results of the 2023 Bar examinations, the Supreme Court ensures transparency and accessibility for all examinees and stakeholders. This technological approach allows individuals from different parts of the country and even the world to witness this significant event in the legal profession. As the results are announced, aspiring lawyers and their families can celebrate their achievements and look forward to the next steps in their legal careers.
