PRC Announces Results of Dentist Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has recently released the results of the November 2023 Dentist Licensure Examination in the Philippines. Out of the 1,668 examinees, 732 or 43.88 percent successfully passed the examination.

Anne Nicole Abes Caeg, a student from the University of the East-Manila, emerged as the topnotcher with an impressive rating of 83 percent. This achievement reflects her dedication and hard work throughout her dental education.

Furthermore, the University of the East-Manila was recognized as the top performing school in the examination, boasting an outstanding passing rate of 83.47 percent. This accomplishment speaks volumes about the quality of education provided by the institution.

7. Ana Marie Obtiar Orbase, University of the Philippines-Manila, 81.77 percent
8. Ma. Alyssa Carlos Tagata, University of Baguio, 81.63 percent
9. Paul Benson Inserto Sia, University of the Philippines-Manila, 81.40 percent
10. Vince Neljan Burce Mabilog, Ago Medical and Educational Training Center, 81.30 percent; Jessica Atiteo Shih, Centro Escolar University-Manila, 81.30 percent

The Dentist Licensure Examination was conducted in two phases. The written phase took place on November 28, 29, and 30, 2023, while the practical phase was held from January 4 to 11, 2024. The examination was administered in various locations across the Philippines, including Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.
