DOJ Uncovers Bribery in Pasay City Court
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has found probable cause to indict a Pasay City court employee for direct bribery, following a National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) complaint. The employee was arrested during an entrapment operation, highlighting the DOJ’s commitment to judicial integrity. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla emphasized the importance of integrity among civil servants, warning that no one is above the law. The presiding judge implicated in the complaint will also face a preliminary investigation.
