The case registration index in Kuwait has been on a consistent rise, with approximately one million cases being filed before Kuwaiti courts in 2023. This translates to an average of 2,740 cases per day, according to recent statistics issued by the Ministry of Justice.

Through the Electronic Justice Portal – General Administration of Implementation, collections exceeded 45.125 million dinars. Additionally, total and partial performance orders during the same period amounted to 128.682 million dinars. The Ministry also collected 2.135 thousand dinars in the form of fees, and penal fines paid through the electronic justice portal surpassed 1.789 million dinars.
The service centers across the country played a significant role in processing various transactions. In total, more than 603,773 transactions were completed in 14 centers. The Ministry’s efforts to modernize the system resulted in the completion of 73,966 electronic newspapers and 818,066 transactions in judicial inquiry departments throughout the country in 2023.
