The State of Kuwait continues its efforts to provide relief and support to the people of Gaza. On Thursday, the 27th planeload of aid supplies was dispatched to the Egyptian Al-Arish airport as part of Kuwait’s ongoing aid air bridge. This flight carried 40 tons of essential items including food, medical supplies, and tents.
Khaled Al-Zaid, the Director of Public Relations and Information at the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), confirmed that this cargo is part of the “Relieve Palestine” campaign. The aid package consists of 40 tons of food, medical supplies, 100 tents, 10,000 packages of powdered milk, 2,000 blankets, five tons of rice, and five tons of medical items.
The purpose of these aid supplies is to alleviate the hardships faced by the Palestinian people due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza. The State of Kuwait, through the KRCS, is demonstrating its commitment to its humanitarian role in supporting the people of Gaza.
This relief bridge was launched in response to the instructions of the political leadership, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The ministries of health, foreign affairs, and social affairs, along with widespread grassroots engagement, are also actively participating in this initiative.
It is important to note the significant role played by the Ministry of Defense and the Kuwait Air Force in facilitating this aid mission. Their support has been crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the relief efforts.
The State of Kuwait’s commitment to providing aid to Gaza reflects its deep-rooted values of compassion and solidarity. By sending these planeloads of relief supplies, Kuwait aims to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and contribute to their well-being.
