Kuwait continues its unwavering support for the people of Gaza as it dispatches its 27th planeload of relief supplies. On Thursday, a flight carrying 40 tons of food, medical supplies, and tents flew to the Egyptian Al-Arish airport as part of Kuwait’s aid air bridge. This effort is in line with the State of Kuwait’s commitment to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in Gaza.
Khaled Al-Zaid, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), stated that the dispatched cargo, as part of the “Relieve Palestine” campaign, includes essential items such as 100 tents, 10,000 packages of powdered milk, 2,000 blankets, five tons of rice, and five tons of medical items. These supplies are intended to provide much-needed relief to the Palestinian brothers and sisters affected by the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Through the KRCS, Kuwait aims to demonstrate its humanitarian role and solidarity with the people of Gaza. The State of Kuwait recognizes the urgency of the situation and is committed to providing assistance to those in need.
This relief bridge has been launched in response to the instructions of the political leadership, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The collaboration involves various ministries, including health, foreign affairs, and social affairs, as well as widespread grass-root engagement. The Ministry of Defense and Kuwait Air Force also play a crucial role in facilitating these aid missions.
