MANILA, Philippines: Annabelle Rama, the outspoken talent manager and mother of actor Richard Gutierrez, recently took to Instagram to address circulating rumors about the alleged separation of her son and his wife, Sarah Lahbati. In her post, Rama urged everyone to refrain from creating false narratives and warned against spreading misinformation.
“Mga Chismosang Marites! Tigilan nyo na ang gumawa ng maling kwento. Lahat ng lumabas sa sosyal media is all fake news (Babblers! Stop creating false stories. Everything that comes out on social media is all fake news),” Rama said in her post, accompanied by a family photo without Lahbati.
Rama appealed to her followers not to contribute to the dissemination of inaccurate details regarding the issue. She emphasized that the truth would eventually come to light and cautioned against jumping to conclusions.
“Wag nyo ng dagdagan ang mga maling balita malalaman nyo rin ang katotohanan in due time. Baka ma shock kayo at hindi na ako ang lalabas na kontrabida. Malalaman niyo kung sino ang walang hiya na kontrabida. Mali ang bentang nyo sa akin. (Don’t add to the false news; you will eventually learn the truth in due time. You might be shocked, and I won’t be the one portrayed as the antagonist. You’ll find out who shamelessly plays the antagonist. Your assumptions about me are incorrect.),” she said.
Rama clarified that she was taken by surprise by recent events and emphasized her love for her grandchildren, expressing her reluctance to see the couple separate.
“Sino ba ang may gustong mag hiwalay sila. Ako ba? Or ang mag-ina. Wag nyong idiin sa akin ang nangyayari ngayon. Ako ang walang alam sa nangyari ang bilis. Nagulat nalang ako biglang dumating ang nanay at tatay galing ibang bansa. Doon na nag umpisa ang malaking gulo. Wag nyo ibagsak sa akin ang sisi. (Who wants them to separate? Is it me? Or the mother and her daughter? Don’t blame me for what’s happening now. I’m the one who’s clueless; it happened so quickly. I was surprised when the parents suddenly arrived from another country. “Kung hindi ako pinagbawalan ng lawyer na magsalita. Mag-enjoy sana ang buong mundo sa sasabihin kung kwento. Gigil na gigil na akong isiwalat ang katotohanan sa pangyayari pero wala akong magawa. Abangan ang susunod na kabanata. Basta ako ayaw ko silang mag-hiwalay. Dahil mahal ko ang mga apo ko.
