Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC)

KNPC was founded in October 1960 as a company that held shares owned by the Kuwaiti government and private sector. In 1975, the government acquired all of the company’s shares. The company had been exporting petroleum products from its Shuaiba Refinery since 1968. One of the oldest oil facilities in the area, the Shuaiba refinery was closed in April 2017. Founded on February 10, 2002 is the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation’s fully owned subsidiary for offshore oil and gas operations. Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC)

The main operations of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company S.A.K. are the control and operation of tankers used for the conveyance of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), processed petroleum products, and crude oil.
