On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, toured the Hawalli region. The purpose of his visit, part of an ongoing campaign to address residential violations, was to ensure the law was being uniformly enforced and violations were being removed.
During the tour, His Excellency declared zero tolerance for violators prioritizing profit over workers’ rights. He demanded strict and impartial enforcement of the law, the elimination of all residential violations, and the regularization of properties used for purposes outside their intended designation. His message was clear: violations would not be tolerated and the rights of workers would be protected.
