Kuwait’s leadership, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, extended heartfelt congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the successful execution of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
They commended the remarkable efforts of the Saudi authorities, particularly highlighting the utilization of advanced technologies and services to ensure a smooth and comfortable Hajj experience for millions of pilgrims who converged upon Makkah from around the globe. The seamless organization and warm hospitality extended to the pilgrims garnered widespread praise.
Kuwaiti officials, including Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Ambassador of Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, also acknowledged the commendable dedication of the Kuwaiti Hajj delegation and pilgrimage agents for their unwavering commitment to serving the needs of Kuwaiti pilgrims.
With the Hajj rituals complete, over 8,000 Kuwaiti pilgrims are set to embark on their homeward journey from Wednesday, according to Ahmed Al-Duwaihi, President of the Kuwaiti Hajj Caravan Owners Union. A total of 40 flights operated by various airlines, including Kuwait Airways, Saudia Airlines, and Flynas Airlines, are scheduled over three days to facilitate their return.
Al-Duwaihi expressed gratitude to Allah for the pilgrims’ safe return and successful completion of their Hajj pilgrimage, emphasizing the excellent coordination between the Union and the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission in ensuring the well-being and comfort of the pilgrims despite challenging weather conditions.
Meanwhile, in Mina, the symbolic stoning of the Jamarat continued, marking the second day of Al-Tashriq and the third day of Eid Al-Adha. Pilgrims, having completed this ritual, proceeded to the Holy Kaaba for the final circumambulation, known as Tawaf Al-Wadaa’, before departing Makkah. Those not constrained by time could choose to stay for the third day of stoning rituals. Five dedicated lanes provided smooth access to the Al-Jamarat site, connecting to the Al-Mashaer Train and surrounding areas.
